Promotional[edit]

There seemed to be a plethora of items written by Michael Aufrère Williams which seemed excessive and all appended into this article by that user. I have blanked the section, but they are still on. To me it seems like WP:NOTPROMO, but it would be nice for a second opinion. All the articles are on the Whitby, Redcar and Middlesbrough Union Railway page anyway. Regards. He's also added these sources to our articles for every single station between Whitby and Loftus inclusive. Some of his edits were done when logged out, so show as IP addresses. He has not made many (if any) edits to articles not concerned with this line. Oh, and I bought his book last October - it's 188 pages, of which no fewer than 12 are the references. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 17:56, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Redrose64 Thank you, I will start removing the ones that do not belong for individual stations. Regards. The joy of all things (talk) 19:49, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ISBN[edit]

Hello, the ISBN 978-1-84868--668-7 looks wrong with a pair of dashes in it, though it does not flag an error. Keith D (talk) 22:02, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

They're hyphens, not dashes; but they're wrong all the same. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:30, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
