Statue of Liberty[edit]

Where is this reported 9.1m replica of the Statue of Liberty? I haven't come across it in Marion.

Outside the old New York Bar & Grill, now a Caffe Primo. Walk out into the upper-level car park past the Subway and you'll most likely see it on the right after a while. 122.49.175.100 (talk) 07:59, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Number of floors?[edit]

There are eight floors, unless the Office tower isn't part of Westfield Marion at all. Also, one of the bus routes from Marion Interchange goes to Golden Grove. What should I do?Samurai 004 04:19, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The office tower is included in Westfield as the leasing of the offices are done through Westfield management. The M44 does go to Golden Grove but all you should do is state that it goes there and not go into details.

Bunnings ?[edit]

Why would Bunnings be part of the center as it's in a seperate warehouse styled building unless the hole block of land is Westfield Marion including the Motor Rego and the culture centre (which i nicknamed the mars building) aswell Richardson j 02:11, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would say you need to find out who owns the whole block of land, as you said. Muzzamo 02:44, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I highly doubt that it's a part of the main shopping centre, but then again, I think it is listed on the centre map as an external source. Neoballmon II 12:05, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I might check the map the next pay day if i remember as i and my father go there for the weekly shopping Richardson j 01:03, 7 August 2007 (UTC)::::Ended up forgeting to duble check .Richardson j 22:19, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I decided to check the westfield site and bunnings is on the Our stores for westfield marion so i'm wrong Richardson j 22:13, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Store Discrepency[edit]

According to the About box, there are 321 stores. The article says around 401 stores, but there is actually 398. Whats with the two different figures? Douglas 05:05, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:The Westfield Group logo.svg[edit]

The image Image:The Westfield Group logo.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Expansion[edit]

I removed the 'expansion plans' from this article, for a couple of reasons:

  • Not a project on the Westfield Group's site
  • reference has expired (over 3 years old)
  • not enough evidence
  • Westfield Marion website mentions no extension
  • facts about the extension are 'loose', for example it said the centre will feature 488 stores, after 90 stores are added, only problem is that the centre currently features 326 stores.

Thankyou MelbourneStar1 (talk) 12:04, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Had a look at previous edits too made to the article. There is a lot of contradiction going around, with stores again, at one stage it says the centre features: 401 stores, 326 stores, 321 stores, 500+ stores, 398 stores, 488 stores --------------- People editing this article please make up your mind and get references to back up your edits!!!

History - "all three department stores"[edit]

Perhaps somebody who lives in Adelaide knows which stores are being referred to here, but those of us in Canada have no clue. Please specify. Rob Kelk 13:48, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Robkelk: The three department stores are David Jones, Harris Scarfe and Myer. The information has now been added to the article. Thanks for identifying the shortcoming. DH85868993 (talk) 08:38, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
