I’ve Attempted to move West Sound Ayrshire to Greatest Hits Radio Ayrshire. I’ve discovered you cannot move a page, that’s been already been redirected. I think it would now be better, West Sound Ayrshire remains, instead of being moved to GHR Ayrshire, that way, Wikipedia and will be able to identify the station more clearly, as with the other GHR Scottish stations. it was me that wanted the station to be moved in the first place, But no, I am thinking, more clearly. sorry for any trouble that I may have caused.DoctorStrange97 (talk) 17:16, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How much local programming do the Scottish GHRs have? If it's not a lot, perhaps a scope cut at the name change is merited (i.e. another article covers activity as GHR and in the future, with this article covering 1981–2023). Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 21:20, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As I understand it, there's no local programming on the Scottish GHR stations - they run the exact same schedule as each other (which is mostly the same as the UK-wide GHR with some Scotland-only opt-outs). I don't think there's any need for them each to have their own page under things like "Greatest Hits Radio Ayrshire", and I'd agree that the timeline of these pages should be cut at the point where they became GHR, to preserve the history of eg. Radio Clyde or Radio Tay without mixing in a bunch of repetitive stuff about the network on each station's page.

Future readers looking for information about historical local radio in Scotland are more likely to search "Radio Clyde" than "Greatest Hits Radio Glasgow & The West" or whatever network name is given to the individual transmitter in its final years.
