A new page name suggestion[edit]

I believe this page be called "Welsh Premier League Cup", along with a redirect called "Loosemores League Cup" (the Sponsors name for the trophy for the past couple of years) pointing to it.

Why? Well the FAW/League of Wales refer to the trophy as the "Welsh Premier League Cup" and the pages current name, Welsh League Cup is a little too similar to another Welsh trophy, the Welsh Football League Cup (which should really be called: Welsh League Challenge Cup). I believe this similarity may lead to confusion.

Exactly. This is NOT the Welsh League Cup - that implies it relates to the Welsh League (a.k.a. Welsh Football League but no one ever calls it that). This should be at Welsh Premier League Cup. Oh and why is related to the Women's Sport Wiki Project? This is a men's football tournament
I have removed the Women's Sport Wiki Project banner. No need for it to be there, I am as puzzled as you are! Cls14 (talk) 22:39, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that this page needs a new name. FAW rules refer to the competition as the Cymru Premier League Cup (https://www.faw.cymru/files/9615/9983/2678/Cymru_Premier_League_Rules_2020_2021.pdf page 23). Therefore the page name should be changed to reflect this.
