This WP page was cited by the Seventh Circuit, in Rickher v. Home Depot, Inc., a decision handed down on July 28, 2008. The propriety of the citation was discussed at The Volokh Conspiracy. -- Zsero (talk) 05:46, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As an FYI, "friction" does not erode a hammers head. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.231.82.197 (talk) 20:35, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yet another one-use IP heard from. Sure it does. -- Zsero (talk) 22:27, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Consumable[edit]

In the context, a screwdriver is not a consumable, you don't expect to throw it away after very few uses, whereas a screwdriver tip, maybe used in an electric screwdriver, could well be a consumable since it is replaced when worn rather than repaired (re-ground) and the electric screwdriver is retained. A printer is not considered a consumable, whereas an ink cartridge is. Otherwise, everything that is used (can wear) is a consumable. Minipinion (talk) 13:59, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
