Global Scope[edit]

I expect there are water spirits all over the world, but so far only included the ones that didn't require much research to find. Expand! Kenirwin/(talk) 13:44, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notes on categories and scope of page[edit]

Do not that there is a Spirits which is a sub-category of Water Creatures. As you find articles to add to this page, you may wish to be sure that they are:

  1. appropriately category-tagged
  2. actually water spirits rather than gods, sea-monsters, etc (note: a lot of the relevant articles will use the template mythical creature] which includes a "subtype" for "water spirit"

I've wondered if we really need both a disambiguation page and the categories, and concluded that both are good. The disambiguation page seems sensible since it gives cultural arrangement as well as synopses, whereas the category lists do not.Kenirwin/(talk) 13:44, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
