Water boy (disambiguation)Water boyWater boy is currently an unreferenced WP:DICDEF. I'm not sure if the role of a water boy would be a viable subject for a legitimate article, but for now, I think it's best used as a dab page with a Wiktionary link. Relisted. • Comment since you didn't nominate the article for deletion, it'll have to be moved as well. I suggest waterboy, whereupon after it is moved, you can redirect it back to the disambiguation page, or Waterboy (term)/water boy (term), and leave it unredirected. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 22:41, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Surely better to solve a meagre article by making a better article, not shunting away. Primary meaning of "water boy" or "waterboy" is the young fella who brings water, all down history. Improve that. LCS check (talk) 23:56, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - just a badly sourced and focussed article. The primary traditional use of waterboy relates to steam-engine teams and the railroads. See sourced content now in article. In Indian English a waterboy is still a waterboy, pani-wallah, and no one would have heard of the sports use. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:35, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Water boy exists as an article. It would have to be nominated for deletion first, before this could be moved. RightGot (talk) 21:30, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
