Not Notable[edit]

The Original Americans Foundation (OAF), announced only days ago, has received mention in the press entirely because of its role in the Washington Redskins name controversy. Creating a new article for the OAF alone is at best premature.FriendlyFred (talk) 00:56, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

For now, I have added another ref for balance.FriendlyFred (talk) 00:58, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree strongly. At the absolute minimum, this is worthy of redirection to the main controversy article. Given the immense amount of popular attention it has received, though, I have no doubt that OAF is notable. Xoloz (talk) 22:26, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Main article vs this one[edit]

I am continuing to place news of the OAF in the section of the main article, but have no interest is duplicating that effort here.FriendlyFred (talk) 01:52, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Was curious if anything was being done here, which is little. Reverted an anonymous POV deletion.FriendlyFred (talk) 19:23, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Main article GA status[edit]

Trimming the main article on the controversy involved splitting off content, so this article turned out to be needed.

There is a new Washington Post ref which basically rehashes everything.FriendlyFred (talk) 21:26, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
