I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Protection[edit]

Please note that just because the band is not still together today does not mean that Wikipedia should suddenly erase all record of the band ever having existed or recorded albums. Once a band has established notability, that notability remains in place permanently, and all properly referenced facts about the band during its lifetime remain true and relevant and worthy of note — however, this article has now been mostly or entirely erased five times in the past two years, usually but not always with an edit summary suggesting that the intention was to "update" the article based on the band's current inactive status, even though the article is already written in the past tense. Accordingly, I've been left with no choice but to semiprotect it from IP edits for the time being.

Given that the band are admittedly now defunct, it's not likely that there's going to be a lot else that can be added to the article in the near future, but if and when there is I'd be happy to unprotect if needed. However, the idea that the band's lack of current activity warrants erasing the article altogether is absolutely not acceptable. Wikipedia is a permanent encyclopedia, not a temporary one; if a band was ever notable enough for an article on here, then the fact that they've broken up and aren't recording new material anymore does not change the fact that (a) they did exist at one time, and (b) it is still possible to purchase the albums that they released when they were active, so the band's decision to call it quits does not mean that their music ceased to exist. Scott Rankin was one the key band members and probably the one started the band , was left out of all the article by the band member because he quit http://www.cduniverse.com/sresult.asp?HT_Search=XARTIST&HT_Search_Info=Scott+Rankin

Done Although not with this source. Discography pages on online music stores do not, in and of themselves, constitute reliable sourcing for a Wikipedia article — it doesn't, for example, properly verify that he was ever actually a band member, as opposed to just a session musician hired to play on the album as a guest. I have, however, found a real media source which clarifies that he was a member, so I'm adding it with that source instead. Bearcat (talk) 16:04, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
