Information missing!![edit]

I came to this article looking two pieces of information: His Dam sire (also Grandam sire i.e. his Pedigree) and what price was he when winning the Gold Cup? As the Gold Cup page "has no betting prices"!! Other races (pages) on wiki. have the prices. A big fault I find with writers on Wiki. is their "inconsistency" in the layout of "similar" type articles i.e. All race horse pages should have a "Standard Format" (layout). A lot of pages are every shape. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.155.168.96 (talk) 11:58, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

His Dam sire was Good Thyne (information that was originally on the page when it was written) and the Gold Cup SP was 15/2. Other resources are available for pedigree searches and SPs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.18.177.137 (talk) 15:40, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

useless hyphens[edit]

There is no need to insert hyphens in "two and a half lengths" to make it "two-and-a-half-lengths". See Chicago Manual of Style: [1]. Since so many editors have trouble with this, it is better and shorter to use the fraction: "2+12 lengths". Chris the speller yack 14:46, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
