Wah Fu Estate and Wah Kwai Estate should be considered as a part of Pok Fu Lam. There is no such district called Wah Fu.--Hello World! 14:57, 10 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure about the etymology of Pok Fu Lam as a place name. Wah Fu Estate is a previous uninhabited hillside on the corner of the island.. and it could be possible that the area was unnamed. Pok Fu Lam, strictly speaking, refers to the area around the village. Wah Kwai Estate is built on reclaimed lands from Kellett Bay. It is pretty far away from Pok Fu Lam Village I'd say. — Instantnood 17:25, July 10, 2005 (UTC)

I found the Social Welfare Department recognize Wah Fu as a "district" and Pokfulam as another. Though it is necessary for the SWD to cut tiny pieces out in order to serve better, but I think we could then consider Wah Fu as a "district". On the other hand, in District Council election, these two district are separated, however, again, we may found them have their unique reason in doing so.
