Gentium[edit]

The Gentium committee recommends placing the breve diacritic under the turned-wye symbol, ʎ̯, to avoid the ascender, just as the voiceless ring is placed above gee and engma. They felt it should be rotated as well (as here), therefore being homographic with the non-syllabic symbol, to which it is cognate. kwami 23:46, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
