Husband[edit]

The Indian Express news^[1] in the article claims that she married V M Kutty, but this is wrong:

None of the other sources about her or him mention this
Manorama news article^[2] lists Muhammadali as the husband
The article and other news items list her post-conversion name as "Faseela Muhammadali"
In her long interview about her collaboration with Kutty,^[3] she says that V M Kutty was like her father, there is no mention of any other relationship.

Everything points to Express as having made a mistake. So I have removed the claim that Kutty was her husband.

You are right. I also found an article from Madhyamam which says V. M. Kutty was married to Aminakutty, who had predeceased him. Thanks for making the correction. Malayala Sahityam (talk) 22:31, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
