Untitled[edit]

I don't want to change the article until someone with better color sense than I have can review and levy an opinion.

In the fourth paragraph, however, the article includes -- "Parts of the building are covered in wooden panels painted in dark red, blue, tar black, okra yellow and dark green."

Okra is generally green.

Is that supposed to be /ochre/, as in http://webexhibits.org/pigments/indiv/overview/yellowochre.html ?

Praise from the Times[edit]

The Times has included the Vasa Museum among the 12 coolest museums in the world.[1]

Color of replacement parts[edit]

Just a comment about the color of the replacement parts. I don't have any cite, so it'll have to be just here on the talk page. The article states "The replacement parts have not been treated or painted and are therefore clearly visible against the original material that has been darkened after three centuries under water." However, when I visited the Vasa Museum last summer, the tour guide stated that the original wood had been darkened not by the time underwater but by the years of polyethylene glycol treatment. ~ V6stang ^T&C 22:02, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
