Figure 1: Illustration of the vanadium cycle with all values given in 10^9 g/yr [1]. Vanadium is a relatively ample trace metal and enters the surface through chemical weathering. Vanadium can be released into the atmosphere through volcanic ash, coal and petroleum pollution, or fires. Vanadium enters back into the earth through sedimentation and the cycle begins again. The two largest mechanisms in the vanadium cycle include rock weathering and sedimentation.

Lead: The lead is concise and generalizes what can be found in the article. Structure: Headings provide good organization of the article overall, although headings for each 'sphere' (bio-, litho-, hydro-, atmo-) may allow for better organization that better presents the flow of vanadium through the Earth. Coverage: Sources and sinks are covered relatively equally. Biological contributions are minor, and resultantly have less information. Neutral content: The article is presented in a neutral tone. Sources: Reliable sources are used and cited often to support the claims in the article. Figure: The figure is missing arrows (aside from a sedimentation arrow) showing where the fluxes of vanadium feed into, and lacks the full picture of a closed loop cycle. Quantitative data is included in the form of flux values, with units appropriately listed in the caption. Reservoir values could be included if the information can be found. It would also help to increase font size and figure size to make it easier to read. White text may also be easier to read on the dark shade of green. Overall, the figure is very neat. The figure caption is clear, but should include citations. Format and Completeness: This article is a good starting point for general information about the vanadium cycle. It cites sources frequently and uses the wikilinks often. It could be expanded upon to provide a more detailed description of the cycle.
