Slashing Incident[edit]

This is going on three years now since the incident. The incident is probably no longer a salient point of interest to users of the Wikipedia looking up information on Valparaiso High School. I suggest editing this section of the article to a very minor point. If it's deemed important enough, there can be a separate article on the incident (or perhaps a part of another [new?] article on "Incidents of Violence and Mayhem in American Schools," to be lumped together with Columbine and I forget where else. The VHS article could contain a link to this outside article or section.) I wanted to put the proposal out there to see what others might think. If there's no opposition (or no response) after a time, then I'll make the revision. Xenophon777 14:22, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The text is still there and is still WAY too big for the article. I cleaned it up a little, but didn't pare it down much.Loren.wilton (talk) 02:05, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I went back and made it a more reasonable size.Loren.wilton (talk) 02:08, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revisiting this, I agree that this is nothing but local interest. I removed the name of the perpetrator, as using it is a violation of WP:BLP policy. If no-one comments in the next couple weeks, I will remove the whole section. John from Idegon (talk) 17:44, 27 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Worked on it some[edit]

Yeah, so I got bored and started working on this to help expand it. Hopefully everyone likes what I've done with it so far. Feel free to give suggestions or critiques. 134.240.94.56 (talk) 02:11, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Someone should put a lock on this page because it is always being vandalized. I changed the page back to where it included the history and academics of the school. Those two sections were wiped out for no reason except for vandalism. I thought that both the history and academic sections were quite informative. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.52.61.109 (talk) 14:32, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
