147 temples as vaippu sthalam[edit]

In this Vaippu Sthalam list there are only some articles. But In Tamil wikipedia under the head தேவார வைப்புத் தலங்கள் there are 147 temples, most probably with Tamil article links. Now attempt is being made to incorporate 147 temples in this Vaippu Sthalam list. It seems other temples than that of Vaippu Sthalam is also found in this list.--B Jambulingam (talk) 10:28, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kaccippalathali[edit]

In Kaccippalathali more than one temple of Kancheepuram has been referred as the Vaippu Sthalams by Tamil Saivite Nayanar Appar. They are as under:

Category I : Three temples: Kaccapesam (கச்சிப்பலதளி/கச்சபேசம்) Karchapeswarar Temple, Kailayam (கயிலாயம்) and Kayokaranam (காயாரோகணம்) (பு.மா.ஜெயசெந்தில்நாதன், தேவார வைப்புத்தலங்கள், வர்த்தமானன் பதிப்பகம், சென்னை, 2009)
Category II: Four temples: Tirumetrazhi (திருமேற்றளி), Onakanthanthazhi (ஓணகாந்தன்தளி), Tirukamakottai (திருக்காமக்கோட்டம்) and Kacchineri Karikkadu (கச்சிநெறிக் காரைக்காடு) have been referred under this head.
