Other highlights of Upland include Upland High School (featured on 60 Minutes in the mid-1980s as an example of suburban high schools with terrible drug problems)

One such native resident, Taryn Turney, has been seen in numerous contemporary Broadway hits such as RENT, Wicked, Avenue Q and a staged reading of The Wild Party.

I know this person and they have never been on broadway.

Schools[edit]

Seeing that someone added a section for Upland schools but only included a handful of schools to their list, I added all schools from the Upland School District. This list is still incomplete, as it does not include any private schools. Jer the linear 07:34, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Medical Marijuana[edit]

Tcccfriends: Whether or not medical marijuana is a local political issue, it is irrelevant regardless. Local current events do not belong in an encyclopedia article unless they lead to some greater significance. As of yet, this ban's impact is too early to determine. Furthermore, it is uncited. Tccc, Even though your troll comment is spectacularly witty, please keep in mind the Wiki Policy regarding unnacceptable talk page behavior, specifically as it relates to personal attacks. Thanks (by the way, if you look at my contributions page, you can easily determine that my contribution to Wikipedia is far beyond that of a troll, I've had substantial page edits and entry creations. Apparently you don't have a solid understanding of how wikipedia signatures work. I'll be happy to explain. jer the linear is my signature. it is the SAME account as Jerdobias. It is not a second account pretending to be a different person. Therefore, it is not a sockpuppet. In fact, my signature, as do ALL of our signatures, actually WikiLinks to my userpage, to help ease the confusion. Glad I could clear that up.
