Greek life and honor societies[edit]

This section is unusual for an article about big universities. The contents are completely unreferenced and since it is just a rote list of various societies without any further detail, I question whether there is any useful information being shared here. I propose deletion. Melchior2006 (talk) 12:21, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're putting the cart before the horse. If one of your main concerns is that the section lacks references, then we can at least give editors a chance to provide them. There's WP:NODEADLINE and we can delete the section in three months just as completely as we can delete it now if no references are presented. As such, I've tagged the section.
OTOH, if you feel strongly about it, you can WP:BOLDly delete it and see whether anyone feels strongly enough about it to revert your edit. DonIago (talk) 04:13, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since no one has chimed in here on the talk page or improved the section, I will go ahead and streamline it. --Melchior2006 (talk) 20:17, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Fall First-Year Statistics all from primary sources[edit]

Is this form of referencing permissible here? All of the sources are self-published by UVM. Don't we need secondary sources? -- Melchior2006 (talk) 13:09, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's fine. (And nearly any secondary source is going to just be repeating what the university itself has reported anyway.) ElKevbo (talk) 15:31, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

M. Ahmad Chaudhry - University of Vermont people[edit]

Greetings, the biography article for M. Ahmad Chaudhry has only one reference (a dead link). From the article: an American radiologist, Associate Professor at the University of Vermont, and Interim Associate Dean for Research, in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Asking for help here to improve the article & possibly de-orphan by adding to List of University of Vermont people. Regards, JoeNMLC (talk) 19:32, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Done - Thanks User:Unbandito - Cheers! JoeNMLC (talk) 14:14, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
