USITT is an integral part of the professional theatre community, which is why it was bizarre that there was no Wikipedia article for it. Please feel free to contribute your expertise to this page and expand it. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) (talk / cont) 10:58, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was an article for a long time (I created it...) but it was removed after someone said it violated copyright rules. I couldn't figure out what they meant and no one else could either so it was removed..... Charlie Richmond (talk) 07:58, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wasn't the text for that article taken directly from the USITT website? If so, that was the copyright violation. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) (talk / cont) 08:24, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My original article was not copied from anything but I did notice someone replaced it with new copy. I didn't know where it came from though and when the violation was cited it did not clarify why the violation occurred. I guess we'll see what happens next and watch out for this happening again.... Hi, I'm the chapter historian for USITT@PSU, and one of my goals this year was to expand this page. I was the one who was adding stuff about national conference. i'll try to continue expanding in my copious amounts of free time.--Jmansker (talk) 02:32, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I saw some people from PSU at this year's conference, and I just want to say you guys are awesome. My recommendations on expanding this page: How USITT helps the theater communities and a detailed history. Andrew Donnelly (talk) 06:35, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
