Copyright?[edit]

If as user:MUhl24 says the article came from The Huntingburg Independent, Friday, June 4, 1937, as told by Mrs. Hannah Uhl Switzer then there would appear to be a problem with copyright? TeapotgeorgeTalk 18:30, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What type of copywright would be needed, then? This article is then cited by the website for the Huntingburg Public Library as the source for their history into the Uhl Pottery Company.

My aim is neutral as I am merely trying to provide information on the Uhl Pottery Company. The company has a rich tradition in Southwestern Indiana, and now has a new life as a collectible antique. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MUhl24 (talkcontribs) 18:39, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's fine to cite the article as a source or reference, but not to copy the article. TeapotgeorgeTalk 18:43, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

--MUhl24 (talk) 20:03, 10 September 2009 (UTC)I'll be glad to change the wording some more. I tried to put it in my own words as opposed to verbatim, but since I'm a newbie, wasn't sure what the standard would be. Thanks for helping me out, I really appreciate it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MUhl24 (talkcontribs) 18:45, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
