  • "a tropical developed," missing a word here
  • "70,000 t (77,160 short tons)" Metric tons? Actually, could you please spell it out throughout the article? It isn't a well-known abbreviation.
    • Yes but I need to maintain consistency with spelling out units. This comes up every once and a while. YE Pacific Hurricane 15:28, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "of rice were wiped away" I can't check the source, but did floodwaters actually remove the rice from the land?
    • That's a pretty common phrase seen in news articles during this era, and I've always understood it to mean that. YE Pacific Hurricane 15:28, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "769 people were killed and 128 were reported missing while 200 were wounded" I think this would read better as just "769 people were killed, 128 were reported missing, and 200 were wounded"
  • An increase in organization prompted the JTWC to classify the system as a tropical depression later that day, although post-season analysis revealed that Cecil was already a tropical storm by the time it entered the South China Sea." Probably should either adjust the TD part according to the post-season analysis or ax it and just say when the system became a TS.
    • I cut back on the SCS bit but axing it would be weird given the next sentence. Not sure what you mean by adjusting the TD part. YE Pacific Hurricane 15:28, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Capitalize the "hunter" on Hurricane Hunter. Additionally, I would either remove plane or aircraft from that sentence.
  • "typhoon clearing" verb tense... also a typo later in that sentence
  • "Heavy rains in Thailand causes" verb tense
  • Link Vietnamese Government
  • Link Government of Australia
  • Add "the" before British Red Cross

Just some minor things for the most part. Good work on the storm. NoahTalk 19:46, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review. YE Pacific Hurricane 15:28, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
