Why did you change BCE in BC and CE in AD?

BCE = Before the Christian Era, or Before the Current Era. Date notation equivalent to BC (Before Christ). Common Era (CE), Christian Era, or Current Era is the equivalent alternative to AD.

Mr Awiseman tell us what do you mean by that, when you indicate the article of History: "it may be confusing or unclear for some readers?" Perhaps it is too much formal or only to professionals in the field?

Here's a suggestion: the large amount of Latin texts without translation might be unclear for some readers. I've tried to remedy some, but I can't keep up with you adding more and more. Please translate them when adding them. Also, especially the "Antiquity" and "Roman Tusculum" paragraphs are more a list of unrelated facts and quotes. Perhaps putting them in chronologically, or grouping them by writer, together with other info on that writer (see Cicero mentioned 3 times). Mhaesen (talk) 16:02, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The name of "Tusculum" means "the settlement of the Tusci(the Etruscans)", but it was not an Etruscan city. It was a Latin city (a city from Latium). The name of Tusculum shows us that it might be conquered by the Etruscans before... Böri (talk) 14:35, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
