Biased maps being added to article[edit]

There is a user who has been replacing this neutral map of Suriname which acknowledges disputed areas with a biased map where official disputed areas are shown in a misleading way. i request help from other editors to remove the map in the article and replace it with this map which is a neutral representation. File:Suriname with disputed territories.jpg as this map is more widely used.

when i try to revert his edits, he simply reverts it back. this has been done with a lot of pages recently.

You are either mistaken or stating a falsehood. The user added 1 map to an article that displays international borders. This is allowed on Wikipedia. There were no other images in the article. You are free to add an image that displays the disputed regions of Suriname. But you chose to engage in an edit war instead, which is why you are now banned. For others, please feel free to add a second image, without interfering with the international borders image. MacDonald2024 (talk) 16:32, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
