I've been trying to put XY coordinates on the site of this old power station, but with no luck. I have scoured all the maps of the Happy Valley area between Tywyn (Towyn) and Aberdyfi from 1890 to the present, as well as maps of the entire Towyn county area, and there is no record of any power station in that area. Is there some written record that might give a better idea of where this could be? If all there is are vague mentions in papers, it's difficult to put a location on it. "Happy Valley" (as it was called in the early 20th century) lies at around 52.5689, -4.0353 in case anyone else wants to give finding its location a go!
