Suggestions on how to improve this article[edit]

Hello. In its current state, the article is a little more than a list of people known for tongue popping. The following points could be expanded, although I recognise there may be a lack of reliable sources (especially on the more technical/scientific points):

  • the purpose or meaning of tongue popping and if there are different meanings according to the context. Currently the article only mentions (unsourced) that it's for emphasis - emphasis for what?
  • history and diffusion of tongue popping, it's role in the lgbtq+/drag scene and if/how it is relevant in other contexts today (i.e. mainstream entertainment).
  • the anatomy of tongue popping: what parts of the tongue or mouth are involved in it and how it is produced.
  • difference between 'tongue clicking' and tongue popping. If there are no actual mechanical differences, then the article should explain how tongue popping is different from tongue clicking in usage and purposes.

These are just some suggestions for users who may be willing to expand the article using reliable references. --92.28.190.117 (talk) 10:24, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
