Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... this player is listed in the Football League Players' Records 1889 to 1939 book as having made two Football League appearances for Queens Park Rangers in 1920. McGovern left Brentford and joined QPR in 1920, for QPR's first season in the Football League. The book is a credible source. --Beatpoet (talk) 00:17, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
