Gameplay section npov needed[edit]

It seems to read more like an advertisement than an informative section about general gameplay.

I assume you are talking about the part about weapons customization, so I tried to rewrite that part. What do you think of this?

During E3 2011 Ubisoft debuted Gunsmith. In Gunsmith, the player is able to customize their weapons, down to the gas management parts of every gun. This system also works with Kinect, which allows the player to customize weapons through hand gestures and voice commands. Gunsmith also includes a target range, in which players can test their weapons.

I deliberatly choose to leave out the 'unprecedented' part, because frankly, it's not. Army of Two: 40th Day also had a weapons customisation system which was equally elaborate. Maybe unprecedented within the Ghost Recon series. 77.248.191.124 (talk) 12:15, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

GRAW 1 and 2 were both Ghost Recon 3, more specificly, GRAW 2 was a soloplay (like the GTA 4: Episodes from Liberty City) extension from GRAW 1. This is why it's only concidered fourth on Wikipedia. 'The Ninjalemming' 19:03, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wii and PSP versions[edit]

Since the Wii and PSP versions have vastly different stories, (see here) should we treat these as a part of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, or as separate games? SCΛRECROW 12:06, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

pegi 16 esrb T?[edit]

Is this right? i mean the esrb has done some crazy stupid stuff in the past but this takes the cake if its right. can i get a citation please? PC version[edit]

Someone has recently made an edit regarding the target platforms of the game. As a result, the PC version's been absent for quite a bit. Obviously I've reverted this bull****. Let me clarify then. The PC version was taken into consideration a long time ago; the homepage doesn't reflect anything, although IGN and Gamespot list the release date as 'TBA', not 'Cancelled'. Regarding GRFS on the PC[edit]

Lately there has been an edit war going on regarding GRFS on the PC, wether GRFS will or will not be released on PC. I think it would be a lot more constructive if we could reach a consensus on this topic.

As far as I am aware, there has been no official notice that GRFS will be released on PC. Combined with the fact that not all Ghost Recon games have been released on the PC (Ghost Recon 2 was not released for the PC), it is not at all impossible that GRFS also will not be released on PC. If the article states it will be released on PC, there should at the very least be a citation.

Petition for GRFS[edit]

I understand that at one point a link to the petition and talking about it was up but then it was removed by SCΛRECROW on December 23rd for reason "Probably not the place for this." Rather then having a edit war,

May I suggest that we have someone in a professional way write something up about a petition going on, as it is something that is a focus for those who play games on the PC and by first glance yes can be viewed as unneeded but it is information that is important to some, and I dont think the heart of it is attacking or malicious in any way, only something that from the pc side is of value.

You may look at my request and all the issues with grammar but this is why I am writing here, so that the overall community can have this information put up in such a way that benefits all and is not detoured by my poor typing,

And then ghostrecon.net had a news-feed up "The recent storm over PC Gamer casting doubt on the existence of a PC version of Ghost Recon Future Soldier has prompted one fan to make a Facebook page, and another to start a petition. Ghost Recon Predator (PSP)/Ghost Recon (Wii)[edit]

Ratings (ESRB, PEGI, BBFC, ACB)[edit]

According to the official website, the game is rated PEGI 18 (according to the dutch or the french version), BBFC 18 but TBC (according to the UK version), ACB MA 15+ (Australian version) and ESRB rating pending (US version). I am aware that some trailers are inconsistent with this, I for example have seen a few trailers that announce themselves as PEGI 16, but I think this means the trailer is PEGI 16, not that the game is PEGI 16. 77.248.191.124 (talk) 13:14, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I just reverted another edit changing the game rating. It's best to go with the ratings that are listed on the official website, since the ratings in trailers contradict each other. It's probably the rating for the trailer themselves, not for the game. Please do not edit the ratings unless you can provide a reliable source (more reliable than the official website) to back it up. Plot[edit]

The plot where Russian ultra-nationalists start a revolution came from E3 2010, but the game has had an overhaul since then. Release Date[edit]

Several European countries get Future Soldier on the 24th, such as the Netherlands and France. So far, only the UK seems to get it the 25th. So, unless someone can provide a better source than the official trailers released by Ubisoft, please stop changing the EU release date to the 25th. Thanks.
