Contradition[edit]

The article states that he was elected with at least 60% of the vote each time, but in two of the elections with information at the bottom of the article, he is below 60%. Naraht 19:05, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I edited the page to clarify that he has received over 55% of the vote each time, which is the standard indication of electoral strength anyway. I wish there were a way to let people know what a great guy Tom Allen is, but I know Wikipedia isn't the place. He's just a really down to earth guy and I really hope he's able to knock of Collins. This Article Reads Like an Ad[edit]

I'm not going to make any edits, but the beginning of this article reads like a campaign ad and needs to be altered. I'll leave to the politically obsessed to take care of it, but this is definitely a biased article.
