Toast as in Sliced bread[edit]
I altered the note about toast meaning sliced bread because this is not simply a German thing; in various other European languages a word derived from English toast is used to refer to the Anglo-American style sliced white bread (what the French call pain de mie). Tkinias 22:40, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
No such cooking technique?[edit]
Every chef I've ever worked and studied under is wrong. Apparently, this bottle of toasted sesame seeds on the shelf next to me also doesn't exist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.113.240.160 (talk) 07:36, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
