Improvements to the article[edit]

To Venkat TL, the creator of the article. You have already asked for help with improvements, and you will have seen that I have already suggested improvements in the DYK nomination template: "the Content section needs to make clear in every paragraph that statements are the opinion of the writers of the book, that the writers said it, etc. Also I agree that there should be a Reception section which (ideally) includes some quoted views on the quality of the book. I should add that we are not in a position to criticise our nominator here, because they have not yet told us that they have finished expanding the article, so maybe this problem is my own fault for doing the review before they had completed the task".

I see that you have added sections on Editions, Censorship and Reception, and that is good. If you can find more of that material, it will help a lot. A major problem remaining, is that the Content is still representing the book content as fact, rather than the opinion (or choice of other people's opinions) of the authors. I suggest that you make it clear in every paragraph of the Content section that it was the authors of the book who chose to write about those aspects, or who voiced their opinion. With a book title like that, we are clearly dealing with a very controversial political subject. Whether we agree with the content of the book or not, our attitude is beside the point. We cannot link this article on the front page if it appears biased towards such a very controversial opinion about a whole country, which probably contains many people with very different opinions.

I don't know whether I can find any more sources for Reception for you, but I shall have a look. If I find anything I shall put it in the External links section, and you can use it as citations or delete it as you think fit. I cannot edit the article for you because then my previous review would be compromised, and I don't want to do that. Therefore I can only add to the advice that others may be giving you.
