I'll get to this within a few days Snuggums (talk / edits) 06:28, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lead
  • If I'm gonna be honest, it's simpler and cleaner to just say this is her fourth album in opening sentence
  • recording artist → singer
  • Let's specify that it replaced the Title EP on iTunes
  • Deluxe edition and track count don't need to be mentioned here
  • All the parts calling this a debut album should be removed as quite misleading since she previously released three albums before this
  • "commenced on February 11, 2015" reads awkwardly, and I'm not sure if the exact date is needed
Production
  • See above note on calling this a "debut album"
  • When did Trainor begin working on this record?
  • No mention of her previous three albums?
  • "her singing being weaker" is POV
  • "Speaking to USA Today she said" → "She told USA Today"
  • Not sure if "improve her vocal strength" is neutral
  • Something about "Trainor said on October 7, that the album was made up of 14 tracks, 10 of which were co-written and produced by Kadish" doesn't read well
Writing and inspiration
  • No need to mention Beyoncé's nationality
  • From "However, in February 2014, Trainor was signed to Epic Records by chairman L.A. Reid", I'd put the time range at the end of this bit
  • I don't see anything in FN19 (The Guardian) explicitly mentioning Trainor's own self image, so where did this come from? A contentious claim like this must be resourced or removed immediately per WP:BLP
  • "she wanted to make a statement" → "she wanted to state"
  • There is nothing in FN23 (Billboard) that explicitly indicates she was previously "mishandled" in relationships; please resource or remove this right away per WP:BLP
  • "Recorded on August 19, 2014, 'Lips Are Movin' served as a late addition to Title" is not supported by FN5 (USA Today); resource or remove this
Composition
Music and lyrics
  • See above note on deluxe edition and track count
  • "Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic opined that Title was a balance of old-fashioned girl group pop and old-school hip hop" is missing a citation
  • Add a comma after "According to Jim Farber of the New York Daily News"
  • No need to mention Amy Winehouse's nationality
Songs
  • "Trainor's vocal"..... vocals
  • Something about "It features a series of slick production slap-beats, a rock-inspired drum track, zippy piano and ebullient brass instrumentation" doesn't seem entirely encyclopedic
  • "tender love song" is POV
  • It doesn't seem neutral to call someone "shallow"
  • I fixed a quotation mark misplacement for the "Credit" song
Release
  • There's no reason to include a "premiere" of a track that was never released as a single or even a promotional single
  • Again, no need to include track count of original/deluxe editions here, or even the deluxe edition itself
Promotion
  • Is it necessary to include her cover of "Don't Stop"?
  • It would help to include when "That Bass Tour" will end
Singles
Critical reception
  • Only 10 reviews maximum should be included in review box
  • Per WP:OVERCITE, you don't need to include citations more than once in a row per paragraph
  • The URL for FN34 (AllMusic) is a review for Title (EP), not this album
  • The sentence with the "for better or for worse, more of the same" quote ends abruptly; include that The Boston Globe is saying it is "more of the same" of "All About That Bass"
  • "complimented Trainor's talent" is POV
Commerial performance
  • Again, remove any instances calling this simply a "debut"; they're misleading
  • How many copies has the album sold worldwide?
  • More certifications should be added here within prose
References
Overall
  • Well-written?
  • Prose quality: Lots of work is needed
  • Manual of Style: Some issues with lead and italics
  • Verifiable?
  • Reference layout: Problematic formatting and labelling
  • Reliable sources: Some sources need replacing
  • No original research: Not everything is supported by given references
  • Broad in coverage?
  • Major aspects: Missing bits
  • Focused: Close, but not quite
  • Neutral?: Almost
  • Stable?: Seems OK
  • Illustrated, if possible, by images?
  • Appropriate licensing: No copyright violations
  • Relevance and captioning: For the audio samples, no need to include what number tracks they are
  • Pass or Fail?: I am failing this without putting it on hold as there are too many problems right now (mainly with prose) to be a potential GA. DO NOT RENOMINATE RIGHT AWAY. Please ensure all statements are supported by attributed references, and it would probably help taking this to the WP:Guild of Copy Editors before renominating. Better luck next time.
