From a quick look at both the article on the author, James Krüss and the article on this book at de.wikipedia, it seems to me that this book might just meet the requirements of WP:NBOOK. But the article will need expansion and sourcing quite quickly if it is to remain here. Alternatively, it could be merged with the main article on the author.--CharlieDelta (talk) 08:40, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I was the editor who created this page. It was a result of two pages on the English Wikipedia having been created for the Timm Thaler (1979 TV miniseries) (which was also dubbed into English and aired in the UK and Canada in the 1980s), and both having been redirected to a series of various titles (which didn't seem to clearly fit with Wikipedia's MOS for article titles), so I was basically merging/retitling/redirecting the various pages to clarify/disambiguate in order to avoid the apparent confusion that was being caused. I was basically merging the two 1979 articles and one of them had a stub about the novel which didn't work with Wikipedia's Manual of Style for formatting of the article. It was all such a mess, that I was basically assuming one page had originally been created for the novel and was subsequently "added to" with information on the 1979 series, so I was just trying to be respectful of the possibility that there was supposed to be a separate page for the novel. It appears the Oxford Encyclopedia of Children's Literature most definitely considers the book "notable" (it's spawned two television adaptations), but my German isn't the best, so I'm really not the best person to improve this article, but I've added a little more that I could find to the page. --- Crakkerjakk (talk) 14:41, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
