Timeline of 8th- and 9th-century Portuguese historyTimeline of early Al-Andalus history – The article specifically describes the timeline of the Islamic conquest of Iberia in the Middle Ages, including modern territories of modern Portugal and Spain. This well predates the first existing geographical definition of Portugal, for which we already have Timeline of Portuguese history (First County) article. We may consider merging this article with Timeline of the Muslim presence in the Iberian Peninsula, which is quite overlapping (more extensive Al-Andalus timeline until the 15th century).
