Thrust Lever vs Throttle?[edit]

The page should make note that only turbine aircraft have thrust levers. Jet engines don't have "throttles" as such (the engine automatically controls the amount of fuel and air that are combusted to maintain the turbine inlet temperature) and piston engines are regulated by power, not thrust, so putting a "thrust lever" on a piston engine makes about as much sense as putting one on a bicycle.24.181.100.171 (talk) 23:45, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
