Reference[edit]
Possible references may include Burkes Peerage Baronetage & Knightage 104 edition. Also mentioned in the Book of Royal Lists. Jrcrin001 (talk) 19:01, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
missing and incorrect info[edit]
There is no explanation of where the name Lyon came from or how it's pronounced. And his predecessor was not apparently not called John Lyon-Bowes, as claimed in the ancestry box, since that (John Lyon-Bowes, 10th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne) redirects to John Bowes, 10th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne. --Espoo (talk) 20:38, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
