Disturbance in the order[edit]

Talks of Miracles ?? Is this Wikipedia ? ~ Puru — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.174.95.223 (talk) 05:31, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Arjun024, The article was as it is until it being disturbed by an anonymous user bearing IP address 76.232.218.106 on 1st June 2010. i undid that. Again you reverted on 2nd June commenting it as malicious but failed to explain what kind of maliciousness it is. Again i reverted clearly mentioning that nothing to malice and just reverting the disturbance done by an anonymous user who has not even registered with wikipedia. But still you went ahead creating a new problem saying Muslim stuff on top and Hindu stuff at the bottom and you blindly made a comment that i haven't given any explanations. There is nothing religious to be done here and also please go through the page carefully before you make any comments on other users. Wasifwasif (talk) 12:45, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

@ Wasifwasif; oh I did not look at the entire rev history as its not normally warranted. True that the article was in the shape you took it to (which i did not notice earlier). However, you supplied no rationale behind this edit, which made matters worse. Make sure you give an edit summary unless your are reverting profanity or obvious nonsense. Arjuncodename024

Hi Wasifwasif;

There is no link/historical information for the stated religious information. Back it up with verified historical information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Odaah (talkcontribs) 06:31, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am a newbie to Wiki, hence not fully aware of all the rules and regulations. But, this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:PROVEIT#Burden_of_evidence

states that the burden of proof lies with the person who specifies the mentioned articles. Hence, I would believe that unless there is verifiable information, it needs to be removed. Odaah

Its not that it should be removedimmediately. I am working on that and will make it to wiki standards. Pls involve yourself in adding some constructive inputs that will help you gain more knowledge you being new to wiki. Wasifwasif (talk) 19:48, 14 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wasifwasif; There is no way for me to involve myself since there are no links/substantiation of historic information. The problem here is that you are mixing politics, history and faith. Faith can't be questioned beyond a point but history and politics can be analyzed to their bare bones. By mixing faith, you are preventing further scrutiny of history and politics.

You are welcome to create a separate link for the dargah and whatever you think happened and you can add the links at your leisure. For a wiki link for an important location, I think it will be appropriate to provide the links before adding such extensive claims that mesh history, politics and faith. --Odaah (talk) 08:36, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll create a seperate page for dargah. Same can be done for the temple. and the article can have information about the village alone. Wasifwasif (talk) 06:47, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Invincibleblogger, pls stop deleting the content without any explanation. I am in 3RR and so i am not reverting. pls discuss before you revert. Wasif (talk) 18:59, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I totally agree with Odaah (talk). Tiruparankundram is the first abode [six abodes] of lord murugan. The information in this page is no where close to that. I have added the dargah info in this page now, create a new page and add all your miraculous stories on that page. do not misguide the wiki users

vandalism by invincible blogger[edit]

First, understand the basic rule of wikipedia that when an article is being discussed, status-quo should be maintained. And you have violated the wikiepdia 3:RR policy and i have to report that to administartors again if you are planning to revert and you will be blocked from editting.

Coming to discussion, Religious stuffs without any evidence are not required to wikipedia. I just added teh ISlamic material so that both gets deleted. I am not reverting untill this discussion is closed. Again if you revert, you will be blocked for your vandalism and the page would ahve to be protected. Wiki is not the place to spread your religion[edit]

The page does not have any information about tiruparankundram or saravana poigai or any thing for that matter. what it has is only the durgah information and some miraculous stories. if this is the way wikipedia has to work then there is no point for users to rely on any info in wiki. the user wasif has created a religiously biased page and inspite many people discussing in this talk page, this user has not done any justice to the information on this page. i have edited this page with the information of the temple and dargah which are both located in this place. what is the issue now with this page that it has been reverted? vandalism is something when you spoil the beauty of a original art but here the issue is about de-vandalizing. This article is totally fake and created only to spread islam by user wasif. — (talkcontribs) 09:03, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No matter if it is Hindu or Islamic contents, proper references are needed for wikipedia. Wasif (talk) 11:18, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
