Image:TheUnitedStatesOfAmericaBag-1-crop.jpg is being used on this article. United States of America[edit]

Hi! I don't know if you've seen this discussion page - it sort of confirms what I remember, that "The Garden of Earthly Delights" was issued as a single in the UK. It was certainly played on radio a fair amount - unfortunately I didn't buy it because I was saving up for the LP, which I still have and treasure. Hi again! thanks! I was sort of on a wiki-sugar rush with that article. Thanks for correcting my awful grammar. I don't know if that's the same one. Although it's true that the album didn't sell well enough in a short time in the UK to make any charts, it certainly gained a following in "underground" circles of the time, both because "Garden.." was played on a few radio shows, but mainly because "..Wooden Wife.." was featured on this sampler album, which because it was so inexpensive and featured both highly respected and new artists became an essential purchase for a great many people (teenagers and older) at the time, and sold a lot of copies. (Apparently Byrd didn't know about this until I raised it here in discussion with another fan a couple of years ago.) I'm sure the USA album sold a fair few copies in the UK, but spread over a long period (as did, for instance, Love's Forever Changes). Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:13, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I wasn't referring specifically to the idea that people didn't like the album in the UK. I'm sure it has it's audience I was just saying to it's popularity in comparison to how it charted in the US. I haven't found citable information about singles in other countries except with an interview with Dorothy Moskowitz saying that she thinks there were some singles in other countries, which isn't really a strong enough thing to state I think...Thanks for your concern though. I notice you've changed the main sleeve illustration to the "paper bag". In the UK, that version was never issued (so far as I'm aware), and it's always been the other version (black with divided circle of photos) that the album has been known by. My opinion would be that the pictures would be better changed around, with the black/photos version as the main one by which it is known globally, and the paper bag version as a subsidiary illustration to show the original US issue - what do you think? Hi! Thanks for taking such an interest in the album and article. It's a good point, but considering the group is American I think the original American cover is better for historical context. The other cover should definitely be shown as well though. I kind of wanted to add it to the infobox, but I didn't want to the article to become ridiculously huge. That's just my idea on it. Cloud Song lyrics - AA Milne[edit]

Hi, not familiar with editing Wikipedia but I believe AA Milne should be credited with the lyrics for Cloud Song — unless they’re even older than his use. Google them and I’m sure you’ll agree they’re not original in this album.
