Does Anyone Know?[edit]

Does anyone know if The Unexpected was shown live or on videotape prior to its syndication? I ask because I'm almost but not quite sure I saw it in reruns when I was growing up, and while the quality of the print was good enough it had the look and feel of a soap opera, something videotaped. It could have been, I suppose, a PD print, not sure how this would work.
