Legacy[edit]

President Johnson[edit]

On the last show Dick Smothers read a letter from President Johnson stating:
“It is part of the price of leadership of this great and free nation to be the target of clever satirists. You have given the gift of laughter to our people. Name of the second show?[edit]

I am remembering that the second show - the restart - was titled "The Brothers Smothers Comedy Hour". I'll do some poking around to see what I can find. If another editor has sources that can be checked for this I invite you to do so. Thanks! THX1136 (talk) 13:54, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why no mention of an entire show?[edit]
