Name[edit]

Why are they being arbitrarily referred to on Wikipedia as both The SOS Band and The S.O.S. Band in the band's article and their albums' articles, when the sources and most album covers refer to them as The S.O.S. Band (with periods after each initial in S.O.S.)? MTV, Billboard, iTunes, Allmusic, and the BBC all call them The S.O.S. Band and about 90% of the results of a Google search also call them The S.O.S. Band and not The SOS Band. Is it just laziness on some editors' side? Evidence establishes their official name, and i think there should be consistency in these articles. DanteLectro (talk) 22:28, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This band still exists? Well, I doubt it. -andy 84.149.108.252 (talk) 06:59, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
