New article[edit]

When I began this article I learned that a previous version had been deleted April 2, 2023 due to copyright issues. I had not read the deleted version, and this new article was written after locating numerous references and summarizing information in my own words.

Cancellation date and episode log[edit]

Many reference sources list December 29, 1962 as the date of the last episode, but I found at least 3 sources stating December 22nd as the end date of the series. That’s the date I went with. I also found a December 29, 1962 article about The Gallant Men taking over the time spot.

When compiling the episode log I spent hours on newspapers.com and used newspaper TV schedules for information. I did not use IMDb for episodes, since it is not considered a reliable source.
