Seems a bit tedious, unencyclopedic. Abeg92 21:40, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How about moving to The Red Tree (book)? Seems more apt. ajmint (talkemailcontribssubpages) 21:55, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment[edit]

At a recent author talk Shaun Tan claimed he does not wish or intend his books to be specifically aimed at children. Because of this comment the content of the entry on The Red Tree is questionable because it is certainly not specifically addressing 'the issue of childhood depression' but depression in a more general sense. Shaun Tan cannot be said to be a writer of 'children's books' because his audience is broader than that. This comment can equally be applied to his other works.--125.63.208.207 (talk) 13:03, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
