"However, the true story of the alleged team rape case has never been told in its entirety"[edit]

Is the above statement an encyclopedic fact or is this simply the opinion of the author? This has a POV that signals the truth can be found in this book. In the references are repudiations of the book's major premises. I wish to have a full discussion of this. I will edit this out unless there is are fully independent references that attest to the veracity of this comment.Mwinog2777 (talk) 22:03, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Proposed Merging/Deletion"[edit]

Outside of the spurious claims that the author makes, which have been debunked and refuted, there does not appear to be any notability to this book, and subsequently this Wikipedia article. As pointed out by several Reliable sources, Price of Silence offers no new information to false rape hoax against the Duke lacrosse players, except to add fringe theories and false claims by the author, convicted felon Mangum, and disbarred attorney Nifong. Several other, better-sourced, publications have been produced which do not have their own, unnecessary Wikipedia entries, and this one has even less need for a stand alone article. The (reliable) information from publication is scant enough that it can be merged to the author's Wikipedia article. Therefore propose to nominate for merging/deletion.
