Speedy Deletion[edit]

The first sentence emphasizes how the paper is "award-winning" and the page only contains positive coverage of The Observer's reporting. It has been that way since at least August, and it appears to be highly likely that this was a copy-and-paste move, as the page was created with a note that it contains too many primary sources that was dated 18 months prior to the page's creation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikehawk10 (talkcontribs) 18:28, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

I agree that it should be changed. But it does not mean that it should be deleted. If the Indiana Daily Student, The_Ball_State_Daily_News, The Communicator (IPFW), The DePauw, Purdue Exponent pass muster, why shouldn't Notre Dame paper too? It has more secondary references than the average campus newspaper too. It may meet the criteria for deletion, but it definitely does not meet the criteria for a speedy deletion (WP:SPEEDY).
