Inspired by Simak?[edit]

Does anyone have any info to contribute regarding the long earth's relationship to Ring Around the Sun (novel)? I read the series this summer and happened to read Ring a few months later and was struck by many similarities. I'm clearly not the only one though e.g; https://www.sffworld.com/2013/07/the-long-earth-by-terry-pratchett-and-stephen-baxter/ Even if there's no acknowledged connection, it may be worth referencing the older work here? 76.24.24.247 (talk) 02:14, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
