hi and about film title[edit]

Hello Wikipedia editors. I am the lead producer of the narrative feature film, The Light of the Moon, which received the 2017 SXSW Audience Award for Narrative Feature Competition.[1] In my haste to create a neutral wiki page about this film, I published the page, instead of "submitting it for creation." I apologize for being overzealous and only reading the guidelines after the COI notice was published. Please note that this was an honest mistake as my intention was to make note of the published/verifiable information about the film. Here is the film's IMdB page: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5047336/ Here is an article about the film's start of production: http://variety.com/2016/film/news/stephanie-beatriz-light-of-the-moon-1201789326/ And here are reviews from The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, which I wanted to cite in the article. Please let me know whether I should draft an article and "submit it for creation." Moreover, would you advise that the title for the article read: "The Light of the Moon" or even "The Light of the Moon (film)" Your help in the matter is much appreciated. Thank YOU! Hope you don't mind, I inserted a section title for this section here, and for another below, to break up discussions. Great, glad you're here contributing.
About the article title, I think adding "(film)" to the title is not needed unless there are other usages of the phrase that need to be distinguished from this article about the film (i.e. that need to be disambiguated, to use Wikipedia's term). For example, Mr. Roosevelt (film) needs the parenthetical phrase, because Mr. Roosevelt goes to List of people with surname Roosevelt instead.
I notice that the current title has possibly odd capitalization, with "of" undercase and "The" in uppercase, in current form ("The Light of The Moon"). Should it be at The Light of the Moon (currently a redlink), instead? Depending on what the actual title of the film is, in its own commercial materials, and depending on what the usage is in sources like the Hollywood Reporter, either the current article should be moved leaving a redirect behind, or a redirect from the other version to this one should be created. --doncram 19:28, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
All sources use the lowercase "the" so i went ahead and moved it. --doncram 02:21, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

edit request 1[edit]

Further to my initial message above, I have had the pleasure of speaking with an experienced Wikipedia editor in The Teahouse, who advised me to disclose my paid contribution to my user talk page and instead requests edits through this page. Thank you in advance for your help in the matter. As written above, could we please add this Variety article, which talks about the start of the film's production: [2] Could we please also add the two following reviews of the film by The Hollywood Reporter: [3] and Variety: [4] Finally, would it be possible to please add the film's IMDb page: [5]

Please suggest the exact proposed wording of any new material, not just a list of sources, please also note that imdb is not a reliable source. Theroadislong (talk) 13:30, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I arrived here from seeing mention of this article at a Talk page elsewhere, rather than coming to respond for the edit request system. User:Carlo at Stedfast Productions, you got your answer. I can't right off think of other pages where I see edit requests happening, but yes, I think what is commonly done in that system is a COI editor will make a very specific request providing a quote of material that is to be replaced and providing the new text requested. It is also okay/good to post sources that others can use to develop the article, and to make other general requests, but I guess you're not supposed to pull the cord / push the button / detonate the whatever (i.e. you don't then use the {{edit request}} template).
I might add something from one or more of those sources to the article, anyhow. --doncram 19:37, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, about the comment that IMDB is not a reliable source, that is about fact that IMDB is itself a wiki or it allows public editing or member editing or such like, and it is not regarded as high quality source for supporting an article on its own without other sources, or for making any contentious assertions. It is fine for it to be mentioned in the article though and I will add it. --doncram 19:42, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Last name revision request[edit]

Could I please ask for the last name of Producer Carlo Velayo to be updated? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carlo at Stedfast Productions (talkcontribs) 21:16, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
