Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on September 21, 2010.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender plan to make a spinoff called Avatar: Legend of Korra which is set at least 70 years after the defeat of Fire Lord Ozai?

Recurring characters overview[edit]

Can we fix the list of characters in the overview section? Ming-Hua is definitely not recurring in book 4, while Baatar is barely there (Baatar Jr. is recurring, more like). For Book 2, Katara only appears in one episode, so not really recurring, while Bumi should be there. In other words, replace cameos and oneshots with actual recurring characters and break the joint 3 & 4 into two rows. I'm not technically savy enough as far as Wikipedia is concerned, but I (and many others) would appreciate more accurate organization. Thanks!

Do you think we should mention Voltron in the influence section?[edit]

I was wondering whether we should mention Voltron under the influence section as it not only does is have the same animation studios as Korra but most of the same stuff. Mark Taylor purposely went out of his way to get the Korra crew over to DreamWorks to work on Voltron as Korra was finishing up production. Just a thought.

Westernization of the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender.[edit]

There should be a section of this article about the westernization of the world of Avatar. Many people have criticized the westernization and americanization of the world of Avatar through The Legend of Korra and it is a part of the show's identity that has not been covered in this article. The section "Reception" should be changed to "Reception and Criticism" and there should be a subsection added to it titled: "Westernization of the world of Avatar". Do you have any reliable sources about this? If not, we can't write about it. Sandstein 21:41, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
