'Lapon'[edit]

This should presumably have read 'Lapp', a now dated name for the Sami people - 'Lappone' in Italian. The link from 'Lapon' is also wrong (a constant problem with Wikipedia), for it takes you to a species of fish and the name of a US ship - apart from that, 'Lapon' does not exist in English, and simply suggests the French word for 'rabbit', 'lapin', or the Finnish beer 'Lapin kulta' ('Lapland's gold').213.127.210.95 (talk) 17:34, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
