The sequence of the Poirot novels[edit]

The Labours of Hercules was published in 1947, between the publication of The Hollow and Taken at the Flood. Because this book of short stories comprised material published previously, I have omitted it from the series in the infobox. --Sordel 17:24, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violations?[edit]

I am reporting what looks to be copyright violations. That is that that was taken from page. I am tagging the portion of text that is identical. I understand that the trivia written at the website could be from Wikipedia, except that the text in Wikipedia cites the website as the source, so it appears to be a direct violation. I marked a couple of sentences, with hidden text, that appear to be copied and pasted and while it is only a couple it still is word for word. There may be more on the page, but I don't have time to compare the entire article. MagnoliaSouth (talk) 05:15, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I know this a few years old, but there was a violation removed shortly after being added, which Magnolia was referring to here. I fixed up some poor paraphrasing, so things are good other than that. 💵Money💵emoji💵💸 19:46, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Antisemitism[edit]

This book describes a character as "a Whitechapel Jewess with dyed hair and a voice like a corncrake ... a small woman with a thick nose, henna red and a disagreeable voice." I think there should be some mention of these antisemitic stereotypes within the article. The article about the play has a passing mention of antisemitism.
